Here are some of the images taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1X shot in Hi-Res Handheld mode, a staggering 50MB!! I then converted them into black and white using Affinity Photo. A big thank you and shout out to Olympus for the Pro-Loan of the equipment. Hope you enjoy the results.
Many shots todays. Lunch time nearly finished, when my attention was caught by the screaming of seagulls. The brewery, “Brains,” must have been chucking out food. The went crazy, I got a shot.
It’s not unusual for it to rain in Wales, but today required the purchase of an umbrella.
I’m really please with this shot as it finally is. I had to take out several people and a bollard, then spent sometime tweaking the look until I was happy. I really like this one and hope you do too.
I had a good day today. Not work, work. And certainly not getting to work, work. My 0710 arriving at 0740. Nothing like half an hour standing on a freezing platform to put your back in spasm! Thanks once again, Arriva Trains, Wales.
Any; I went out at lunchtime. And got some nice images. Then after work, I explored around the east side of the Millennium Stadium and got some good stock images. However, my shot for day 20 was the last shot of the day. Walking back to the station, D300 in hand, when a seagull swooped down, nicked a chip of the floor and flew off. I waves the camera at it and fired. I got this. I like it, hope you like too,

Sorry for the delay. This was shot on day nine, but i was knackered and unable to post the image. I got some nice images yesterday with some sun (yes-it’s been a rarity in these jet stream jumble days), but the image I chose to manipulate was very much stuck in yesterdays weather. A nice image of the Radissonblu, Cardiff, reflected in a pool of fag butts. Day 10 will be on Day 10. Enjoy.
Really pleased with this.
I got some other good shots of the rain and very soft light in cardiff. A heavy drizzle had descended all day. As i was walking to get my train, I saw a metal seat, just by the abstract clock at the bottom of the main pedestrian area. The drizzle had formed into these great patterns. I took two quick shots and then bundled my camera back into my trusty Tenba Messenger bag and hurried back home. It was only after messing about in Lightroom and Perfect Photo Suite that I went Whoa! That’s really, really nice. I hope you like too.
