Black and white fun

Here are some of the images taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1X shot in Hi-Res Handheld mode, a staggering 50MB!! I then converted them into black and white using Affinity Photo. A big thank you and shout out to Olympus for the Pro-Loan of the equipment. Hope you enjoy the results.

Day 42

Many shots todays. Lunch time nearly finished, when my attention was caught by the screaming of seagulls. The brewery, “Brains,” must have been chucking out food. The went crazy, I got a shot.

Day 41

Early train today, time for some shots before work. Cold but bright, great sun and shadows. I’m very pleased with the finished articles, worked in Lightroom 4 and Perfect Photo suite 8.¬†Enjoy

Day 34

More fog this morning, but only one shot I like, and it’ll take some work, so later in the day when the fog had lifted I got this one. Another slow news day I’m afraid, but it’s ok. Isn’t it?

Day 30

It’s not unusual for it to rain in Wales, but today required the purchase of an umbrella.

I’m really please with this shot as it finally is. I had to take out several people and a bollard, then spent sometime tweaking the look until I was happy. I really like this one and hope you do too.

Day 20

I had a good day today. Not work, work. And certainly not getting to work, work. My 0710 arriving at 0740. Nothing like half an hour standing on a freezing platform to put your back in spasm! Thanks once again, Arriva Trains, Wales.
Any; I went out at lunchtime. And got some nice images. Then after work, I explored around the east side of the Millennium Stadium and got some good stock images. However, my shot for day 20 was the last shot of the day. Walking back to the station, D300 in hand, when a seagull swooped down, nicked a chip of the floor and flew off. I waves the camera at it and fired. I got this. I like it, hope you like too,
