Day 41

Early train today, time for some shots before work. Cold but bright, great sun and shadows. I’m very pleased with the finished articles, worked in Lightroom 4 and Perfect Photo suite 8.¬†Enjoy

Day 35

Again they promised sunshine, and again they gave us rain. It ain’t that bad, I kinda like rain. I’m also a big fan of car parks, towers blocks and concrete modernism. Which is why I was taken with this tight zoom shot. Real grim stuff ha ha!

Hope you like, ’cause I do.

Day 6

I am so looking forward to the weekend.

It’s difficult sourcing images (not impossible) when your shoot times are too and from work. As the days lengthen, opportunities will become greater, but now I have to admit I’m struggling, hence the abrasive use of post production filters. I am not opposed surreptitious use of filters, but I’m old school. I’ve come from a film background, which is the greatest of disciplines. Get it right in camera. Or better yet shoot it how you want it in camera. The original of this images is ok, but not whoohoo! Hence the use of filters. Don’t think any worse of me, lol.City Blue

Day 5

So much happier with todays offering. I took some iPhone pictures on the way to work but nothing that gave me a warm feeling. On the way back to the station with the sun setting, I got some good shadows and some good reflections and as it turned out texture.
